I am married to Meenakshi (Meena), who is a family physician. After working in a hospital setting for many years, Meena established an independent primary care practice (www.aparhealth.com) in October 2014.
We have two daughters: Sara and Meera. Sara graduated from the Honors College at the University of South Carolina with a major in International Marketing. She currently works in the Boston area. Meera is enjoying her middle school years. We live in Elgin, a suburb in northeast Columbia, South Carolina.
I enjoy spending time with the family, gardening, playing with our two dogs (Nikky and Ladoo) and cat (Kitten), following cricket, and listening to blues and classic rock music.
